Frequently Asked Questions

What sets Lazy Cozy Quilts apart from the rest on Etsy?

There are so many awesome quilters on Etsy! We all do things a bit differently, so here's a few ways our quilts are unique:

-I buy my materials from other American based small businesses and/or women-owned businesses. When you purchase a Lazy Cozy quilt, you are supporting multiple small businesses!

-I do NOT purchase materials from chain stores like Joanns, Hobby Lobby, etc because the quality is inferior to the premium quilting cottons I use. If I'm going to put my name on a product, I will not cut corners to save a dollar.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Quilt gifts can be wrapped in ribbons and bows. You can see an example in my shop photos under the "About" section of this page (swipe left to find it after the quilting video).

If this quilt is a gift, I can ship it directly to the recipient. Be sure to use their address in the "ship to" section on the checkout page. If you would like me to include a handwritten note card with the gift, please leave a message in the "note to seller" section on the checkout page with your message.

Sizing details

The size of each quilt is provided in the listing. Please use a measuring tape to visualize the size of the quilt before ordering.

Why do you take pictures of the quilt before it's washed?

This is a great question, and the answer is two-fold!

Most people prefer the freshly washed "crinkle" of a quilt, but those crinkles create tiny shadows on the quilt top that make it hard to photograph clearly.

I also like to wash the quilt to ensure its done correctly. The first wash is critical to the "crinkle" process and to lock in the vibrancy of the colors.
